The Visual Identity Program encompasses Jewelry Expertise and Condesa Galería, a side project dedicated to promoting History, Art, and Archaeology within the realm of Jewelry and Gemology. Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, their mission is to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship inherent in jewelry design through education and curation, complementing their main jewelry business.
The Art Deco symbol positioned at the top of the logo embodies the geometric elegance of the era synonymous with La Condesa. The logo was made using Mostra typography as a base, as it resonates with the iconic advertising and posters of the 1930s, known for its geometric matrix enabling versatile combinations to convey mood or style.
Additionally, the lilac color in the palette evokes an immediate emotional connection because it is the color of the flower of the jacaranda tree, a characteristic tree for those familiar with the Condesa neighborhood of CDMX.
